Direct Registration

You can now register patients for Denplan directly from the patient’s clinical record in R4 Software. This not only simplifies the process, but also reduces the amount of information you must enter into Denplan’s Online Patient Application system—making the process faster and more efficient.

It is also possible to store each patient’s dentist registration information within R4 Software, along with the dentist’s user name, membership number, and password. This information is set up and stored within the Settings menu of R4 Software, which is accessible from the main screen.

To access this feature, simply click on the Online Registration button directly from the Denplan Excel Oral Health Screen. Click the images below to view examples:

During registration, the system will also provide a list of any other family members who you may want to register as well. When registering more than one patient, you then select which of the family members is responsible for the group’s payment.

Once you’ve entered this information, simply click “Continue Registration” to automatically connect to Denplan’s Patient Application website. If any details are missing from R4 Software, you may enter them at this point.

If you have Patient Data Exchange activated in your R4 Software, patient updates are automatic. Once a patient is registered online, PDE not only sends updates to Denplan, but also includes any received from Denplan. You will then be notified once the patient is registered online through the PDE process.

Registering patients directly within R4 Software not only reduces the amount of time it takes to complete registration forms, but also ensures accuracy by capturing the information while your patients are still in the practice.
