Caries Detection Mode
Scan and Detect
In the caries detection mode, the CS 1600 uses visual and audio queues to help identify the earliest caries (“white spots”) to the most advanced decay (“brown spots”) during patient screening. Customizable settings allow users to choose their own colors and sensitivity levels for optimum diagnostic flexibility.

General Mode
In addition to its caries detection functionality, the CS 1600 is also a high-performance intraoral camera delivering the highest still image resolution in the industry (1024 x 768). Use the camera’s General Mode to obtain a variety of images, from full arch to macro views.
An optional polarization filter removes unwanted reflection to ensure contrasted, true-to-life views while the patented true liquid lens autofocus works like the human eye to effortlessly capture crystal-clear intraoral images.
